YouTube gone from iOS 6

Apple removed the YouTube app from the latest version of iOS 6 and sparked rumblings of further anti-Google action, but the company said its just expired licensing, according to The Verge.
While YouTube is gone from the iPhone and the iPad, it was still working for Apple TV, 9to5Mac reported earlier today. The blog speculated about Apple breaking away from yet another Google service. The company dropped Google Maps for its own 3D Maps earlier this year.
Apple released a statement to The Verge stating that the licensing to include YouTube on iOS expired, but Google is working on a new app. Users can still use YouTube in Safari.
